Two-sample F test

On a Casio calculator you can select a 2-sample F test

TEST F
MENU 2 F3 F4

Explanation

The two-sample F test verifies the hypothesis according to which condition the result for a sample composed of multiple factors will not change the result for the population if one or more of those factors is removed. The F test is applied to F distribution. Depending on the Data type different screens are shown.

History

The name F test is a tribute to British mathematician Ronald Fisher (1890 - 1962).
